A14 WIDENING KETTERING (2014)

The A14 is a major transport route connecting central and eastern England, Highways England appointed contractor BMJV to widen the dual carriageway between junctions 7 to 9 to relieve regular occurring congestion.

Numerous retaining walls were required to be built to support the new lanes as construction works were restricted to within the existing highway boundaries.

Geoman provided the specialist retaining walls sub-contractor with a fully professionally indemnified design package including gaining Technical Approval from Highways England.
